Is it possible to use the vehicle battery for the winch or must it be an extra one? We recommend hard wiring to the truck. We have also used a few 12 volt power sources, everything from Motorcycle batteries to Rechargeable Portable Power Packs which can be purchased from Sears, Home Depot, etc. There are instructions that come with the Winch that is sold on Toy Loader’s Website. You can also check out WARN’s website. We recommend hard wiring it to the vehicle for heavy/commercial use.
